Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

This policy explains what information TradePipe ("we", "us") collects when you use tradepipe.net and the TradePipe service, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this deliberately short and honest.

1. What we collect from you

2. What we do with it

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing. Ever.

3. About the permit data itself

The permit records we deliver are public records published by municipal governments. They may contain names, addresses and phone numbers of permit applicants and contractors as recorded by the issuing government. We do not add private information to those records. If you are named in a government permit record and have a concern about our redistribution of it, contact us at [email — enable JavaScript] and we will review promptly — including suppression of your record from future deliveries where appropriate.

4. Third parties we rely on

5. Retention

We keep subscriber account information for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for accounting and legal purposes. Sample-request and waitlist emails are kept until you ask us to delete them. Server logs rotate automatically.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to: access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or export it. One email to [email — enable JavaScript] does it — no forms. If you are in the EU/EEA, these rights are guaranteed by the GDPR; we honor the same rights for everyone regardless of location. EU/EEA residents also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

7. Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Access to subscriber data is limited to the operator. We follow the principle of collecting as little as possible — the best-protected data is data we never collected.

8. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify active subscribers by email before the changes take effect and update the date at the top of this page.
